Very nearly Cramond Island

We set out yesterday morning for Cramond Island, a tiny little island a mile off of Edinburgh.

I was going to make this into a complaining post, about how we got off at the wrong bus stop, and then got lost, and about how people from SF have really crappy depth perception (I think it's because the hills, fog, apartment buildings, muni, and everyone's blinding hatred of people from LA prevent the inhabitants from seeing very far). But instead I'll just show you the pictures.

The island that we didn't actually end up going to because we were too tired.

A cute loo.

And then it was on a bus back to home. Right now the two of them are off on another adventure, but I opted to stay home and recover.

  1. I'm laughing at your picture of the loo - how nice to see things made practical and pretty!

Thanks for stopping by my blog & your comment. I used to love to knit hats while I was on the go, too - especially during long car trips when I don't drive - everyone always had unique hats from me. Maybe I should start that again.
